I was born in Key West, Florida, and then my family moved to Oregon when I was only three. I attended Clackamas High School where I developed a love for competitive sports, playing both football and baseball. This led to an opportunity to stay local and attend Western Oregon University where I majored in Health Education and became an All-American tight end. My love for athletics, the community, and children has become a big part of my life and has given me the opportunity to mentor kids through coaching basketball at Milwaukie High School. I’m confident that all of my experiences have helped shape me into the very motivated and successful individual that I am today.
Upon graduating at the age of 24, I went to work for The Simmons Company as a sales representative. After four years of growth with a great company, I had an opportunity to move on to Serta National where I became the Territory Manager for the state of Oregon. On a daily basis, I was responsible for helping the owners run their business in a organized and efficient way. This was a very rewarding position and it allowed me to use my personable approach to create a professional relationship with the value of integrity as my core foundation.
Shortly after starting at the Simmons Company, I bought my very first home. I lived there for two years before selling and purchasing my current residence in Portland, Oregon. Through my own experiences I fell in love with the entire process of buying and selling homes. I knew I had a passion for real estate but I already had a successful career. I decided it wouldn’t hurt to study for my broker’s license during all of the traveling my job demanded. Within that time frame, I realized that I was not content and that it was time for me to make a life change and follow my aspirations with my real estate career. After finding out that my good friend Parvaneh was starting her own real estate brokerage, striving to make compassion, accountability and social awareness the foundation of her company, I knew it was an opportunity I wanted to be a part of. I believe in the value of philanthropy and am proud to help pioneer this concept of giving back on behalf of our clients.
I look forward to being a broker that you can easily communicate with, depend on, and confidently refer to your closest friends and family!

At the age of 6, I moved to San Francisco and lived in the Bay Area for over twenty years. I worked as a legal secretary while attending the College of Alameda and Saint Mary's College of California. I received my paralegal certificate and worked as a paralegal in the areas of corporate, real estate and estate planning. I continued to go to school in the evenings and ultimately obtained a Bachelor of Aarts in Law Studies from Saint Mary's College of California.
In 2005, I was married at Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood. Shortly thereafter my husband began working in Portland Oregon. We relocated to Oregon. It was not a difficult choice for us as my parents and three siblings live in Vancouver, Washington and my in-laws live in Bend, Oregon. We love the beauty in Oregon.
I have over 12 years experience working in law firms. I have worked closely with attorneys in the corporate tax group forming nonprofit entities, charitable organizations and community foundations. I have a deep respect for philanthropic organizations whether it be a large organization or a grass roots effort. While working at a large law firm, I was inspired to raise money for American Cancer Society and received awards including the Edward Sanders Community Service Award in the San Francisco office for my efforts.
I have also worked as an in-house paralegal for two start-up companies. Not only was I involved in performing research, drafting documents and interacting with shareholders, I was also a participant in negotiating commercial lease agreements and the marketing of the businesses. I have solid legal experience, marketing and negotiating skills. I am committed to ensuring that each client receives the best service possible. I am glad to be a part of the Vitality Home Realty team.
I enjoy cycling, running and triathlon. Last year I raced in over ten races including Race for the Roses Half-Marathon, Deschutes Valley Time Trial, Ironman Boise 70.3, Pacific Crest, Portland Triathlon and the Portland Marathon. I live in NW Portland with my husband, Edward, and my two year old daughter, Cadence.
